Overview
At the Ministry of Sport and Youth Affairs, our Legal Unit provides dedicated and professional Legal Services in support of the Ministry’s work in Sport and Youth Development. We promote transparency, fairness, natural justice, accountability, integrity and value for money in all legal aspects of the Ministry’s operations.
We support the Ministry’s Mission, Vision and strategic priorities by ensuring that our policies, decisions and activities comply with the Laws and Regulations of Trinidad and Tobago and with applicable regional and international treaties. We also work to minimize legal risk and protect the Ministry’s interests while enabling us to fulfil our mandate to the national community.
